    Venti-Pak® bag (pocket) filters with microglass media from Airguard® offer extended service life and high dust holding capacity. They can be used as high-efficiency filters in demanding industrial and commercial HVAC systems or as a prefiltration solution in cleanroom applications.

    Sewn-pocket models are formed with an overedge double lock stitch, which provides high burst strength. A thermoplastic sealant applied over the stitch lines locks the stitches and prevents leakage. The formation of the pockets (by span stitching or sonic welding) creates a wide-open entrance into each pocket. The uniformly shaped channels permit maximum air flow with minimum resistance and fully inflate each pocket, thus ensuring complete use of the media, excellent dust capture, and long service life.

    Adjacent pocket retainers made of galvanized steel are fastened together with a high-strength mechanical staking process that secures the pockets and prevents separation under turbulent conditions. A rugged spun bonded synthetic scrim backing on the air-leaving side of the pockets protects the media from tearing or erosion. Extra rigidity is provided by a single piece U-channel with multiple bends.
