Green building practices promote healthy environments by conserving natural resources and protecting biodiversity and ecosystems. Airguard® DP-green 13 pleated filters are part of that green initiative. The DP-green 13 has consistent pleat shape and provides low resistance, full-depth dust loading, and longer field service life for optimum performance. It has a heavy-duty beverage board frame made with moisture-resistant, sturdy-frame material. Additionally, the double-walled thickness around the outer edge and rust-resistant galvanized steel frame help maintain pleat shape and prevent fluttering during operation. Features/Benefits: • Qualifies for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification points • May qualify as a sustainable component for a LEED/Green Building Initiative • Synthetic media does not support microbial growth • Two-inch depth with Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) 13 efficiency • Low initial resistance promotes low energy consumption • Consistent pleat shape to maximize performance and service life • Low pressure drop and high dust loading • Durable, moisture-resistant, and 100 percent synthetic media • Maximum operating temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit • Initial resistance 0.37-inch Water Gauge (W.G.), recommended final resistance 1.0-in. W.G. Applications The DP-green 13 can be used in almost any building where better indoor air quality is desired, such as commercial properties, universities, school systems, and government buildings. It can be used as a pre-filter or final filter without retrofitting systems for a high-efficiency, rigid filter.
